Προφίλ
Sandvika is a pearl in the Lofoten Islands, a wonderful holiday resort. It is approx. 1 km from the E10, the highway that runs through the Lofoten Islands. Turn off approx. 3 km west of Kabelvåg – the oldest town … in the Lofoten Islands. Sandvika Camping was established in 1970 by Markus and Edny Normann and is one of the oldest holiday camps in the region. In 1996, they handed over this gem of a resort to their son, Helge Normann. Sandvika is situated in an area of great natural beauty, with the Vestfjorden, Lofoten’s pantry, as it next-door neighbour. After 37 years of hard work, today’s resort has emerged as a true gem. It includes 15 modern cabins and seaside lodgings, all with kitchens, showers and WC, and 5 cabins with a kitchen and WC. Altogether 81 berths. We also have 150 spaces for tents and caravans, complete with electrical hookups, and set in magnificent scenic surroundings by the beach. The site has been adapted to facilitate the launching of boats, and we also have an excellent quay with a floating jetty and moorings for our guests’ vessels. There is also a gutting shed and barbecue where you can prepare your catch. By rowing boat or motorboat it is only a short distance from the resort to the Lofoten fishing grounds. Facilities: Beach, licensed café TV room. Laundromat/tumble drier. Playground. Excellent sanitary facilities. Toilet drainage facilities for motor homes with fixed or removable tanks. Activities: rowing boats, motorboats and bicycles for hire. Fishing trips together with an experienced skipper, or sea fishing from the rocks. Peaceful walks in the mountains and surrounding countryside with wild and wonderful scenery. Museum, aquarium and galleries within a 3 km radius.

Sandvika er en perle i Lofoten, et herlig feriested som du finner ca. 1 km fra E10 (Kong Olavs vei) gjennom Lofoten, med avkjørsel ca. 3 km vest for Kabelvåg - the old town in Lofoten Sandvika camping ble oppstartet … i 1970 av Markus og Edny Normann, og er en av de eldste campingplasser i regionen. I 1996 overlot de denne perlen til sønnen Helge Normann. Sandvika ligger i et naturskjønt område med Vestfjorden, Lofotens «spiskammer», som nærmeste nabo. Etter 37 års arbeid fremstår anlegget i dag som en ”perle” med 15 moderne hytter og sjøhus med kjøkken, dusj og WC. 5 hytter med kjøkken og WC. Totalt 81 sengeplasser, samt 150 telt og vognplasser med strøm som ligger i idylliske omgivelser -rett ved stranden. Stedet er godt tilrettelagt for sjøsetting av medbrakte båter, og vi har et godt kaianlegg med flytebrygge og båtfeste for gjestenes båter. Her er også sløyehus og grill for tilberedning av selvfisket fangst. Det er kort vei med robåt eller motorbåt til fiskefeltene på Lofothavet. Fasiliteter: Badestrand, Café med øl- og vinrettigheter. TV-rom. Automatvaskeri/tørketrommel. Lekeplass m.m.. Meget godt sanitæranlegg. Tømmeanlegg for bobiler med fast eller løs tank. Aktiviteter: Utleie av robåter, motorbåter og sykler. Fisketurer med fiskevant skipper eller fiske fra svaberg. Fotturer med fred og ro i fjell og mark – i vill og vakker natur. Museum, akvarium og gallerier i en avstand av 3 km.
