Aktiv Camping Neue Donau is situated in the Danube-Recreational Zone (Nationalpark Lobau, Alte Donau, Donauinsel) - 40 km of beach on the Danube with bays for swimming, meadows for sunbathing, sport areas and playgrounds. Next to the camp site there … is a barbeque zone at the Danube, as well as restaurants and bars. In only ten minutes walking you can reach “Donaustadtbrücke”, a station of the underground line U2, which brings you to town. Modern sanitary installations are completed with kitchens with electric stoves and fridges, common rooms and laundry rooms with washing machines and dryers. Also Aktiv Camping Neue Donau offers you as chemical toilet, a water service station, a separated parking lot for people coming with tents with a big meadow next to it, well-spaced pitches, electrical connections and luxury pitches with own water taps and sewages. “Sunken City” on the Danube Island offers many restaurants, bars and discos. The well-known Prater Park is situated at the other side of the river and you can reach it in a few minutes with bike or underground. On the camp site itself you will find an adventure playground and a beach volleyball court. In peak season there is a small shop on the camp site, as well as a coffee-restaurant, opened in the morning and evening. There are numerous leisure-time possibilities directly next to the camping grounds: water ski lift, freestyle ramp, bike-boat-skate rental, surf-, diving-, horseback riding school, tennis and beach volleyball. Free Wifi at the campsite; FKK: in 0,5 km distance.
